In 1999, a young Dave Messick showed up on the docks of the White Marlin Open with a camera
and an idea. Dave began to capture still images, and later video, of the action at the docks. Little
did Dave or the WMO know where that would lead over the next 25 years. Dave and his partner
Scott Lennox quickly set the standard for video production of tournament fishing and now stream
the WMO throughout the city and all over the world. Ever the entrepreneur, Dave runs several
successful media enterprises including Unscene Productions and Hooked on OC. His media
studio in West Ocean City is second to none. It is a first class operation and one of the finest in
the MidAtlantic region.
Dave’s many years with the WMO and his access to the docks and other areas of Ocean City have
yielded images that are unique to Dave alone. Enjoy this 25 year retrospective of the best of Messick!
