Bass aboard the Top Hat in 1980 has stood the
test of time. Forty-five years later, it remains as
the largest white marlin in our history.

There have only been two granders caught
in the 51 year history of the WMO and that
occurred in back-to-back years of 2009-2010.
The first of those granders, and the first ever
caught off the coast of Maryland, was brought
in by Bob Ferris fishing on No Problem. The
giant blue had an overall length of 15 feet 9 Photograph by: Larry Jock
