Tuna are prized for both their fighting ability and

their delicious taste but there is much more to tuna

then meets the eye. 60-80 million years of evolu-

tion have produced an incredible marine predator

perfectly suited for its varied environments. This

article will feature some of the amazing character-

istics of this marvelous creature along with some

history of man’s interaction with this fish.
